B&B Hotel Ulm

B&B keeps their room rates low by not having room keys and letting you check in on a machine, and streamlining everything. I couldn't use the check in machine because you apparently do not get the required reservation code if you book through booking.com, and I could also not use the drink and snack machine (it takes small cash only, the only way to pay by card is through an app, which simply did not work). Fortunately the lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and solved all these problems, so I will most likely stay here again when transiting through Ulm.

We know B&B hotels which is why we booked this one. Location was great, very near central station. We had our rooms almost next to each other which we had asked for and the rooms were clean. View was out to the back of the station but did not stay there for the view. Easy and quick walk into the city centre. We had breakfast which is fine for the price.

Walking distance to center. Room was quiet despite facing the busy street. Was clean. If you need to stop for one night, I recommend.

This was our second B & B Hotel visit for my wife and I. Each time we were warmly greeted by Klaus, the reception man extraordinaire! Again, he enabled us an earlier than 3pm check-in. By check-out, he also provided us extended gratis parking——- that we could enjoy the early afternoon sunshine by the outdoor terrace of pizzeria “Ciao Bella!” Thank you Klaus and B & B Hotel… we very much look forward to our next visit!

Nice and clean room, comfortable bed, and all other amenities expected in B&B. The breakfast was nice as well. Cool underground garage accessible by the lift, however, it is a bit tricky on arrival since you need to leave a car in the street and go to the reception desk to collect the garage entrance code.
